During National Principals Month, I want to recognize Mr. Smalls for his leadership as we begin a new chapter at Pauline Jones High School. A transition like this takes vision, patience, and a commitment to the people who give a school its purpose.

I appreciate his focus on giving students opportunities to discover their interests and recognize their potential. Through opportunities like Passion Days, students have a voice in their learning and a chance to explore what excites them about their future.

As a staff member, I also appreciate being encouraged to share my skills in new ways that can benefit our students. Being invited to contribute makes the work more meaningful and reminds me that we each have something valuable to offer.
